Art Deco Polished Brass Letter Plate with Door Knocker

Manufactured from solid unlacquered brass, the letter plate has a bright polished finish that complements Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and other traditionally styled entrance doors. The integrated traditional door knocker provides an attractive decorative feature while avoiding the need for a separate knocker above the letter plate.

Measuring 304mm wide × 85mm high, the letter plate covers a 200 × 48mm opening and is suitable for doors up to 60mm thick. It is supplied with matching 70mm threaded fixing bolts finished with dome-headed caps for a neat installation.

The polished brass is deliberately unlacquered, creating a traditional living finish that will naturally oxidise and darken with age. This developing patina gives the letter plate additional period character, or it can be polished periodically to restore its original brighter appearance.
