Black Antique Octagonal Centre Door Knob

Add a distinctive traditional feature to your entrance with this Black Antique Octagonal Centre Door Knob, combining a strong geometric shape with classic period styling.

Designed as a fixed centre door knob, it is typically positioned centrally on a front or entrance door where it provides an attractive decorative focal point as well as a substantial grip for pulling the door closed. Unlike a turning mortice knob, it does not operate a latch.

The faceted octagonal design gives the knob considerably more character than a conventional round centre knob and works particularly well with Victorian, Gothic, cottage and other traditional entrance styles.

Finished in Black Antique, its dark appearance complements natural timber, heritage paint colours and other traditional black architectural ironmongery. It can be coordinated with black letter plates, door knockers, escutcheons and bell furniture to create a consistent period entrance.

The knob measures approximately 62mm in diameter, with a 63mm diameter rose and a projection of 57mm. It is supplied individually with an M8 bolt-through fixing for secure installation through the door.
