Triangular Stair Carpet Rod with Decorative Trefoil Finials

Add an elegant finishing touch to your staircase with this Triangular Stair Carpet Rod with Decorative Trefoil Finials, a traditional stair fitting designed to complement carpet runners in period and classic interiors.

Unlike conventional round stair rods, the distinctive triangular profile creates a crisp, architectural appearance, while the ornamental trefoil finials provide a decorative detail inspired by traditional period ironmongery.

Traditional Staircase Detailing

Stair rods have long been used as decorative fittings on staircases with fitted carpet runners. Positioned across the bottom of each stair riser, they introduce a repeated metallic detail that enhances the appearance of the staircase.

The trefoil finials add an attractive ornamental flourish, making this design particularly suited to Victorian, Edwardian and other traditionally styled homes.

Distinctive Triangular Design

The triangular shape offers an alternative to the more familiar round stair rod, giving the staircase a defined, structured appearance.

Paired with the decorative trefoil ends, it provides an elegant finishing detail for stair runners in entrance halls, hallways and period property renovations.
