I always feel a bit wary buying anything glass by post, but no need to worry from "The Victorian Emporium". I ordered a Radiometer (Glass instrument) and despite the Christmas rush it arrived very quickly and was packed in a box with polstyrene bits all round it.Then all this was packed in a larger box with similar packing. This is a great place for all your Victorian era refurbishment or decor needs. From radiators to wooden moldings, door knobs and lights... They saved the day for our refurbishment project by providing good quality, reasonably priced materials which were delivered quickly. I will return for phase 2 of the project!!! In today’s world of mass-produced goods, we were very happy to discover The Victorian Emporium
through a London friend’s recommendation. We discovered a treasure trove of period lighting, hardware and fireplace appointments as well as the curtain finials that were just what we were looking for.  The very helpful personal service and customization option, made our shopping  a pleasure and we look forward to working with them again soon on future projectsTricia Foley (Interior Design)
Just to say that the three ceiling roses delivered within a week of ordering are beautiful and an exact replica of the original broken and missing ones. can I also thank the young gentleman who delivered them and took the time to give us much needed advice on how best to restore our lathe and plaster ceilings and preserve the original mouldings.Edwina

We asked Emma and Simon to come and help us out when we reached a point of being 'renovation weary' and stuck for ideas in some difficult areas of our 1830 home.  They arrived promptly and spent time with us to get an understanding of our original vision for the house.  Ideas were suggested in a relaxed and friendly way and various suggestions put forward to help us work towards our goals.  Fran
