Here are some comments from our customers
I always feel a bit wary buying anything glass by post, but no need to worry from "The Victorian Emporium". I ordered a Radiometer (Glass instrument) and despite the Christmas rush it arrived very quickly and was packed in a box with polstyrene bits all round it.Then all this was packed in a larger box with similar packing. Wonderful packaging! Needless to say it arrived in perfact condition. I trust this company and will shop there again.A. Swift, Museum of Victorian Science, Whitby
Thought I would send you a big thank you for such a lovely job on the coving. It’s now up and the client is extremely happy. It’s a perfect match for the existing coving. I would not hesitate to recommend your company, and look forward to using your services again.Melvyn

This is a great place for all your Victorian era refurbishment or decor needs. From radiators to wooden moldings, door knobs and lights... They saved the day for our refurbishment project by providing good quality, reasonably priced materials which were delivered quickly. I will return for phase 2 of the project!!! Great shop and great service. Thank you !Ed Underwood
Just to let you know that the skirtings are fitted and we are very, very pleased with the result.Hannah
Thankyou for your advice the other day. Steaming and chipping away at it with a knife seems to be doing the job. It's going to be a labour of love but will be worth it! Thanks again, Heather.Heather
Good service, honest and sincere approachDiane
In today’s world of mass-produced goods, we were very happy to discover The Victorian EmporiumTricia Foley (Interior Design)
through a London friend’s recommendation. We discovered a treasure trove of period lighting, hardware and fireplace appointments as well as the curtain finials that were just what we were looking for. The very helpful personal service and customization option, made our shopping a pleasure and we look forward to working with them again soon on future projects
Just to say that the three ceiling roses delivered within a week of ordering are beautiful and an exact replica of the original broken and missing ones. can I also thank the young gentleman who delivered them and took the time to give us much needed advice on how best to restore our lathe and plaster ceilings and preserve the original mouldings.Edwina
Thank you to you and Simon for coming and a your great advice. I think the main thing I have taken from today is to be more decisive with what I want, listening to your comments gives me the confidence in some of my thoughts.Natasha
We asked Emma and Simon to come and help us out when we reached a point of being 'renovation weary' and stuck for ideas in some difficult areas of our 1830 home. They arrived promptly and spent time with us to get an understanding of our original vision for the house. Ideas were suggested in a relaxed and friendly way and various suggestions put forward to help us work towards our goals.Fran
Many thanks Emma for the very sppedy resolution of this problem. The new 5883 has arrived and is of a much better quality.Ashley
Thanks Emma. I have just done this.Lindsay (ordering from Australia)
I do appreciate your perseverance with this order!
Wonderful! Thanks again, arrived this morning, and ‘Er Indoors really likes the product!Nick
Many thanks for following this up and for your call. I appreciate your doing this and the refund. This has turned bad customer service (not your fault but Tuffnels) into very good customer service.Colin
In Bristol a builder built 12 houses in the 1920’s. Some were bombed during the WW2.
He used a particular style of moulding for the picture rails which has long not been available for any restoration. The bottom part of the moulding I have bought from you is the closest match I have found after literally years of searching.
Perhaps not what the designer intended, but a big thanks.Ken
