Derry Georgian Wooden Fireplace Surround in Pine or Oak

Create an elegant period focal point with the Derry Georgian Wooden Fireplace Surround, a traditional design available in a choice of solid pine or solid oak.

Inspired by Georgian fireplace design, the Derry combines clean, balanced proportions with restrained decorative detailing. Double recessed lines run around the surround, while a traditional bullseye motif at the top of each upright adds an attractive architectural detail without making the design overly ornate.

This understated styling makes the Derry particularly versatile. It can be paired with a traditional cast iron fireplace insert and tiled fireplace for an authentic period appearance, while its relatively simple lines also work well in more restrained traditional interiors.

Choose from solid pine or solid oak, with waxed and unwaxed finish options available. An unwaxed surround provides the flexibility to apply your own suitable finish to coordinate with the surrounding room, while a waxed version enhances the natural character and grain of the timber.

The surround measures approximately 111cm high × 132cm wide, with a depth of 19cm. The fireplace opening is approximately 91cm wide × 90cm high, making it suitable for pairing with a range of traditional fireplace inserts.

Manufactured by Carron, the Derry is an excellent choice for Georgian, Victorian and other period-inspired interiors where a traditional wooden fireplace surround with elegant but understated detailing is required.
