A rounded cross with a solid centre
Design 15 features four diagonal arms, each ending in a broad rounded lobe flanked by two smaller lobes. Deep curved recesses separate the arms, giving the cross a flowing outline.
The centre is solid, with no dot, opening or enclosing frame. The photograph shows a black motif against an off-white background, illustrating one colour combination.
A bold accent within a geometric floor
Use Design 15 as an individual inset among plain geometric tiles, or repeat it at intervals to introduce a regular sequence of ornamental crosses.
The complete motif fits on one tile and does not depend on neighbouring pieces to form its pattern. Its rounded edges provide a softer decorative detail within the straight joints of a square-tiled floor.
