Product Details
A diagonal spray of leaves and trefoils
Design 26 features broad curling leaves branching from a diagonal arrangement of slender stems. Small three-lobed trefoils and separate dots fill the spaces between the foliage.
Quarter-circle bands sit in one corner, with partial floral shapes extending towards the adjoining edges. The photograph shows buff-coloured decoration against a black background, illustrating one colour combination.
Exploring the pattern across several tiles
The diagonal leaf spray gives each tile a clear direction. Keep tiles consistently oriented for a repeated diagonal rhythm, or explore rotated arrangements to see how the corner bands and partial flowers interact.
Dry-lay several tiles before fixing to establish the preferred layout and check the decoration at the joints. A complete manufacturer-approved repeat has not been verified.
For a framed panel or larger geometric floor, compare the dimensions, thickness and colours of surrounding tiles and borders before ordering.
Genuine ceramic encaustic construction
Contrasting coloured clays form the decoration, which extends below the ceramic surface. This is genuine encaustic construction rather than a printed encaustic-effect finish.
Colour options and restoration
Alternative colour combinations are available by enquiry. The traditional palette includes red, buff, black, white and oatmeal. Please contact us to discuss colours for your chosen design or to coordinate with an existing floor.
For period property restoration, compare the diagonal stems, curled leaves, trefoil accents and corner bands with the original tiles. Check neighbouring tiles too, as the edge details may form part of a larger arrangement.
