Product Details
A curved floral band with leafy detail
Design 3 combines a broad quarter-circle band with a sequence of small five-petal flowers. Fine contrasting lines trace the band’s edges, separating it from the surrounding botanical decoration.
Inside the curve, stylised leaves and small circular details form part of a larger motif. Outside it, a flower and long pointed leaves follow the arc towards the tile edges.
The photograph shows buff-coloured decoration and reddish-brown details in a two-colour arrangement. Alternative colour combinations are available by enquiry.
Planning a medallion layout
The quarter-circle composition lends itself to a four-tile arrangement, with each tile rotated so the curved bands form a larger circular feature. Dry-lay the group before fixing to confirm the alignment of the flowers, bands and central ornament.
Use the resulting panel as a focal point within a geometric floor, or repeat grouped panels for a more decorative scheme. Check the dimensions and thickness of surrounding tiles when planning the layout.
Genuine ceramic encaustic construction
Contrasting coloured clays form the decoration, which extends below the surface of the ceramic tile. This is genuine encaustic construction rather than a printed encaustic-effect finish.
