All entries must be submitted through our website (see www.thevictorianemporium.com/21c). If you are unable to submit online, please contact us via e-mail to discuss other options.

You need to submit:

  • A4 PDFs (portrait or landscape). This may include but is not limited to a  description of your proposal and any research you have carried out, the proposal itself and the benefits of your proposal.

Optional

  • films or animations or other moving image media to further support your proposal

Once your work is submitted we will confirm we have received it by email. We will then check your work is suitable for publication before uploading it for public viewing to our website.

No responsibility can be accepted for incorrectly uploaded entries. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.

The winning entries will be the ones which, in the opinion of the judges, best fulfil the brief.

The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered to the winners. However, if, at the sole discretion of the judges, none of the entries is of a sufficiently high standard to merit the awards, no prizes may be awarded.

Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond our control.  The Victorian Emporium may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion and the winners agree that, in such event, no liability shall attach itself to The Victorian Emporium, provided that any prize shall not be of lesser value than the one advertised.

The decision of the judges is final and correspondence will be entered into only at the absolute discretion of The Victorian Emporium.

The winners agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.

All entrants hereby license to The Victorian Emporium the use of their entry for display on our website or other media for publicity purposes. Appropriate credits will be given to each item displayed.

The intellectual property rights of all designs submitted in the competition remain with the entrant. Whilst the Victorian Emporium claims no intellectual property rights, it does reserve the right to publish designs on the competition website and for publicity purposes and to reproduce them for any related purpose, including marketing for the competition in any subsequent years.

Each entrant warrants to The Victorian Emporium that his/her entry is original, and made without the inclusion of material owned by any third party.

The Victorian Emporium will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the competition, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by The Victorian Emporium for the purposes of the administration of this competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

All awards must be claimed and used within six months of being given.

By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to these terms and conditions.
