Product Details

This is a very unusual example of a cast iron stick, umbrella and coat stand from the late Victorian period.

The stand is cast with wonderful detail and is presented in stunning condition with a gunmetal finish displaying the beauty of the iron work.

The piece is designed to locate against a wall into a corner - see images for the 'footprint' of the base. This corner design makes the stand a very rare find.

The dimensions of the piece are substantial - it stands 6' 1" tall (167cm) tall, and the solid cast iron construction makes the stand reassuringly heavy.

With 9 hooks on three separate hanging levels, scarf rings and an umbrella gallery to the lower section this piece is as practical as it is attractive. At the base there is an original lift out drip tray.

Suitable for use in any location - hallway, portico or outside.

It is in excellent condition throughout. There are no damages to the castings. A wonderful piece of cast iron which will serve for decades.

A rare opportunity and a stunning example.

187cm (73.6") High
64cm (25.2") Wide.
