c.1850 Designed by Augustus Pugin (who famously designed the furnishings for the interior of Westminster Palace), the original document of this majestic fabric is a cut velvet in gold ground with cerise pink figuring. The Mayfair Azalea Gold reverses this, weaving the stylized silk design in pinstriped gold against a lustrous shocking pink.
