c.1790 Taken from an altar frontal from Castle Howard, this was a pearl pink damask with contrasting embroidered decorative leaf detail and has been transformed into a more defined woven silk chenille that is perfect for upholstery. Chenille leaves curl like rolling waves between budding flowers on a silk ground, in which delicate ferns are just visible.
Woven to order. Minimum order of 10 metres.
